# Share a study with participants

> Copy or email a live study link so participants can complete it.

Participants do not need a Fred account to complete a shared study. A study must be live before you can share its participant link.

## Share a live study

1. Open the project that contains the study.
2. Open the live study or find it in the study list.
3. Click **Share link**.
4. Copy the study URL.
5. Send the link to your participants.

You can also enter a participant email in the share modal and send the invitation from Fred.

  **Share link** is available for live studies. Draft studies must be set to live first.

## For User Sphere sessions

If the study uses a **User Sphere** session method, use **Start meeting** instead of the standard share link flow. Fred opens the session portal in a new browser tab for the presenter.

## After sharing

Responses appear in the project as participants complete the study. You can review method results, analytics, and evidence as data arrives.
